A young girl is dragging a Christmas tree through the wintry streets. Alex (16) wants her mother to have a wonderful Christmas, as she will have to spend Christmas Eve with her father this year. She is heartbroken by the annual dispute over where she will spend Christmas – she doesn’t want to disappoint her father while she knows she can’t leave her angst-ridden mother alone. On this day, things are getting out of control and not knowing what else to do, Alex opens the door of her father’s car and gets out at full speed. As a result, she spends Christmas neither with her mother nor her father, but in an adolescent psychiatry emergency section. This is where she meets three other young people: attractive academics’ daughter Lara (17), shy Geoergian Fedja (16) and angry Timo (17). On Christmas day, of all things, the four who couldn’t be more different, are forced to cope with one another in this awkward place. They are looked after by young psychiatrist Dr. Wolff (38) who asks a lot of his patients and whose unorthodox methods are highly disapproved of by clinic staff. When the four part, not many problems have been solved, but some things have become clearer. Some wounds have been deepened, some have been healed. And none of them will ever forget this Christmas.
