When the six-year-old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey was found dead in the basement of the house of her parents, the whole world was horrified. More than 20 years later since the murder, Netflix decided to make a documentary to try to give clarity as to what happened with the six-year-old.
Casting JonBenet is the new offering of the streaming platform that puts documentary filmmaker Kitty Green behind the scenes to tell us what happened in the Boulder town, Colorado in 1996.
The premiere is scheduled for April 18 and everything indicates that the documentary will focus on the suspects of the murder that was never solved.
As recalled, the autopsy concluded that JonBenet had been gagged, strangled and sexually abused. Although the killers were long believed to be the girl's own parents, the court found that the evidence found at the scene of the crime was not enough to blame them.
